The website Realestate TV is running a story under the headline: More Britons 'choose Morocco for holiday homes' Unfortunately it is simply tabloid burble - but here it is anyway.
The hip vibe and winter sun are enticing more and more Britons to invest in a second home in Morocco.
Offering a laid-back lifestyle and an alternative cultural experience, the north African country is an ideal, cheaper alternative to the likes of the Costa del Sol.
"Morocco is a red-hot ticket," the creator of the Hip Hotels books, Herbert Ypma, told the Independent.
"In the same way that Americans have Miami and the Caribbean, we have Morocco on our doorstep for guaranteed winter sun. There's little time difference, no jet lag and it's so easy to get to."
In fact, more Britons now visit the country than any other nationality except the French.
Ryanair and easyJet offer daily cheap flights, while BA franchise partner GB Airways flies twice a day from Heathrow to Marrakech and daily from Gatwick.
"Flight fares to Morocco have dropped dramatically," said Justin Figgins of Rightmove Overseas.
"This makes the destination a more attractive investment prospect for those looking to cast their nets further afield in search of a holiday home that is a little out of the ordinary."
Typical properties in the country cost between £100,000 and £125,000, although bargains can be picked up for around £50,000.
