Gulf Daily News reported that UAE-based Reem Investments, a private investment company, is planning to set up a $1 billion real estate project in Morocco's historic city of Marrakech.
According to Moroccan officials, the company is planning to build a complex that includes houses, three hotels, a golf course and other attractions 10km from the centre of the city, which is among Morocco's most popular tourist attractions.
The officials pointed out that the new project, known as the Atlas Garden project, will be the region's biggest real estate project.
